My mission as a beauty professional is to help people on their journey of transformation by enhancing their natural beauty. This transformation is both mystical and mesmerizing, and through my study and practice of cosmetology, you will truly "Blossom into Beauty".

Ayisha may have a wide range of experience, but she believes that the client/stylist relationship is what keeps her client roster growing. She feels that, while training and skill are important, how you treat your clients, and how comfortable they feel with you, makes all of the difference in the world. Ayisha stays active in her search for new knowledge. She considers herself an ongoing student both in the beauty industry, and in life itself.

Education and Experience:

I’ve been in the industry for several years now. After receiving a BA in Psychology at Boston College, I attended The Aveda institute of Atlanta. Then I trained at the renowned Paul Mitchell Institute under top Paul Mitchell educator Scott Cole. At these institutions I trained in the top cutting and coloring techniques while becoming familiar with working on many different textures of hair. After school I went on to work in the salon environment, building cliente stylist relationships. I have also ventured out of the salon gaining expierence with hair and makeup in photo shoots, shorts films, and cooperative videos.

Journey:
I have wanted to be in the beauty industry since I was about 5 or 6. Although it was not exactly what my family had in mind for me. I attended Boston College with a pre-med psychology major, but I was miserable. Through out college I always enjoyed helping my friends with hair and make up for school events. In fact think I only attended one school ball, because I liked to help everyone else get ready so much. In my senior year I started to prepare for grad school, but I knew it was not really what I wanted. I had to admit to myself and everyone in my family, what I truly had a passion for. I think it was one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make. Throughout my career so far i have enjoyed what this industry has to offer and I am so proud to be a part of such a dynamic industry. I have enjoyed the people I've met and all the wonderful lessons I have learned and I can not wait to see where this journey takes me!
